Mr. and Mrs. Holmes had two children. Their son, Andy, was 7 years old. Their daughter, Jenny, was 5 years old. Andy was a second-grade pupil at school, and Jenny attended the kindergarten at the same school. On school days, the school bus came each morning to pick the children up. It came around again in the afternoon to drop them off.
